THE LEAD:
The Dean College offense erupted for 61 second half points as they raced past Maine-Augusta, 108-83, in the consolation game of the Ed Hockenberry Classic hosted by Norwich University on Saturday afternoon.

It marks the sixth time in the last two seasons that the Bulldogs have eclipsed the 100-point barrier.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Jordan Booker (Waterbury, Conn.) led a foursome of Dean stars with 25 points, five rebounds, six assists and four steals. Traijan Powell (Sierra Vista, Ariz.) added 23 points and eight rebounds, while Jordan Lynch-Rexroth (Harrisburg, Pa.) and Kevin Clark (Miami Gardens, Fla.) each had 13 points.

Meanwhile, Tyrone Smith-McCray (Brockton, Mass.) and Joel Jones (Fayetteville, N.C.) both just missed out on a double-doubles with nine points and nine rebounds, respectively.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Dean held a monstrous advantage on the glass, holding a 64-44 edge, including 30 offensive boards that led to a 33-7 bulge in second chance points.

The Bulldogs are off until Tuesday, January 7 when they play host to Lasell College at 6:00 PM.
